Sound and Vibrational Therapy with Himalayan Singing Bowls

As vibrational and energetic beings we all have a natural frequency. Just like a musical instrument, our bodies fall out of tune through everyday use and abuse. Himalayan singing bowls, as well as, gongs, tingsha, drums, and even the voice may be used to naturally bring the body back into harmony through vibrational therapy. The body drinks up the vibration while the mind calms and relaxes with the harmonious tones. Utilizing Atma Buti® Sound Therapy techniques these sessions open, energize, harmonize, align, and balance your body’s natural vibration.
Sound healing synchronizes brain waves to achieve profound states of relaxation, helping to restore the normal vibratory frequencies of the cells in our bodies.  “Vibrations move through water in the body,” says Dr. Buathon Thienarrom, a Thai wellness practitioner who offers sound healing with Himalayan singing bowls. “When this happens, it helps stimulate circulation to allow muscle relaxation and improve lymphatic flow.”

Common physiological effects of sound & vibrational therapy include a reduced level of stress-related hormones (cortisol levels cut by about 50% over an extended period); an increase of oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin production; and the synchronization of left and right hemispheres of the brain for healthier brainwave patterns.

Singing bowl treatments are known to lower blood pressure and heart rate, as part of the relaxation response (parasympathetic nervous system). Studies have also shown how sound & vibration increases levels of nitric acid (NO), a vasodilator, which relaxes blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, and is associated with the promotion of healing.

Sound & Vibration Therapy Testimonials

I had my first Healing Prayer and Relaxation session with Jackie recently. I hadn’t experienced this modality and it was just what I didn’t know I needed. The space obviously has great energy, and the alignment of the healing bowls created a warm vortex of love. I could feel each bowl’s frequency resonating through and around each area where they were placed. I left feeling light, relaxed and kind of floated through the rest of my day. I look forward to seeing her new space on the Mother Road and would love to have deeper session work.

The first session was extremely peaceful. The negative self-talk seemed to vibrate out of me as I would breathe in the vibrations.   With each exhale, I could feel a release & the negative self-talk would slip away- being filled with self-love and self-worth. In the second session I got images of pretzels for me. I took that as being twisted up and tied up with what we perceive ourselves. It was a reminder to let go and trust the process.
